What I am doing!!!

Here is where I am spending my time right now,  Warm 85 degree water too.  I love to swim and it has been wonderful.  I talked with my daughter this morning and it is minus 9 degrees and going down all day.  The also have about 2 feet of snow.  We certainly got out of "dodge" just in time.

I am also spending time learning how to use my new Silhouette Cameo.  It was the only craft thing we had room to bring with us. :(.  I am hoping to find a crafting store in Fort Myers.

8" of snow and -7 in St. Louis and we won't even talk about wind chill. There used to be a stamp store in Fort Myers called Betty's Stamp Pad, but that was in 2007. Don't know if it's still there or not. Enjoy the warm sunshine.

21" of snow and -12 and going down in Ilinois. Well that water temp is
perfect for me, just the way I like it. You sure did get out of dodge just the right time, good timing lady. The cameo interested me when I first started a year ago but was not sure about having to use the computer with it, computer things confuse me LOL. Enjoy, nice to have a toy along.

LOL oh sure! Rub it in! LOL!
Yes it's down right frigid here in Ohio too! Not as much snow (thank goodness) but the wind is ridiculous and the temps are bone chilling! You're right ... you guys 'got out of Dodge' just in the nick of time!
Glad you're enjoying your retirement!

It's sunny, 75 and a bit breezy out here in L.A. There's a store in Ruskin, which is south of Tampa on Tampa Bay, called Sparkle 'N Sprinkle. They do a lot with glitter and embossing powders, hence the name. They also have a large line of stamps. You can check them out on line at www.sparklensprinkle.com. I'm sure if you called Margaret, the owner, she'd be happy to talk to you and answer any questions so you'd know if it would be worth the drive. She's a very nice lady--I've spoken to her a few times at craft shows. I hope you find a store closer but if not…?

Joan, so glad you are enjoying your wonderful weather, ours is cold cold cold, and snowy, not as much as everyone north of us, but enough to make you know it is winter!! Coldest it has been in years for sure. Also glad to hear you are enjoying visiting with your family, have enjoyed the pictures that you have posted.

Talk to you soon, drop me a line when you get a chance, I don't want bother you while you are visiting with your family, we can chit chat more when you get home. I am still not sure when my hospital stay is going to be, this one Dr. seems to be going at a snails pace.
You and Jon enjoy.
Hugs
Donna

You sure picked right time to head to warmer climes. We are having a "brown" winter" so far in NE Arizona. It makes life easier for me but it will not bode well for fire season if we don't get some moisture.
enjoy your time. hugs.
