Craft Show Saturday

Tomorrow is the Craft Show in our Community, so I have been working hard to get everything ready.
I still  have a few more items I want to get done this morning.  But, other than those items, everything is packed, priced and ready to take to the club house.  Below are a few items that I will be selling.

All of the items have been done using Chalk Couture products.  Chalk Couture is so easy, that even young kids can do it.

As we prepare to give thanks this Thanksgiving, I loved the 3 different Chalk Couture transfers I used to create this picture.

I made 18 of these little so blessed signs and the Joy to the World Transfer can look so different using different surfaces and colors.

Buffalo Plaid is so hot right now, and Chalk Couture has a wonderful transfer to make it,

One of my favorite Chalk Couture Transfers.

I created this card using Chalk Couture paste.  I have 8 books that I have decorated as accent pieces.
I made this card using only "Chalk Couture" Paste,

What is Chalk Couture All About???

You might need to click twice to start the video.

I have had several ask this question:  "What is Chalk Couture All About:"  I am including this video that gives you a lot of information for either becoming a Customer or a Designer.  I  truly was just interested in becoming a customer when I question the gal in the Chalk Couture booth. When ask her what it costs to become a Designer she said it was only $99.00 and I would receive $252.00 worth of products and accessories.
So, for me it was an easy decision.  We have many in our organization that are just hobbist and only use the products for their Crafting. Many make signs, pillows, cards, etc., and they use
Chalk Couture Products to do so.

Please watch the video and let me know your thoughts. I LOVE what I am doing. Don't hesitate to call me if you have any questions 574 514 1423 or email me at jfricker@fourway.net

REMEMBER.....YOU CAN BE A CUSTOMER OR A DESIGNER, WHICHEVER FITS YOU NEEDS THE BEST.

Vintage Truck

Vintage Truck
I have been busy this week being creative getting ready for our Communitie's Craft Show on Nove 17.
I designed the adorable Vintage Truck for my black and white kitchen.
I have absolutely no artistic ability, so being able to design something like this gives me alot of pleasure. What makes it possible is Chalk Coutures Transfers and Chalk Paste.  I am having so much fun.

CARD AND BOOK

We are having a craft show in our community in November and I have been decorating books for it.
This is just one sample of what I will have.  Also, I needed a very quick card this AM to send something to a friend who I wanted to show a sample using our Chalk Paste.  This card took a matter of 2 minutes from start to finish.  I could have done lots more, but I am just showing the paste.  I am so excited that it works on card stock as well as boards, painted picture frames, windows, etc.  The wonderful thing about the paste is I can take water and wash it off. (not on card stock of course).  With limited storage here in Florida that is a great benefit.

Chalking a card

I have been busy organizing my craft room to make room for my new Chalk Couture items.
Today I wanted to try our Chalk Paste on a card and oh my I must say it is fantastic.  Everything on this card is Chalk Couture paste and so easy.

Our reusable Chalk Transfers are an adhesive silkscreen that can be used on chalkboards, card stock, windows, mirrors, tile, whiteboards, appliances, painted furniture, apparel, pillows, and so much more! They are your imagination’s best friend and can be reused an average of 8-12 times (depending on care and surface applied to). There are hundreds of designs to choose from, allowing you to create a design or decor item for any type of style, space, or celebration!

I wanted to experiment with this card using only paste, but you could add any embellishments, layers etc.  How fun it can be.

If you would like to know more about Chalk Couture, please email me at jfricker@fourway.net call me at 574 514 1423 or click https://www.chalkcouture.com/joanstouch which will take you right to my website.

This new product is so exciting and opens so many doors.

My first project

Yesterday my good friend Marcia and I unpacked my new Chalk Couture products and chose the board, transfer and colors of chalk paste to use.  I love our transfers as they are sticky with mesh which keeps the paste from bleeding. The transfers can be used 8 to 10 times if not more.

Would you like to make some beautiful Christmas gifts? Do you need birthday gifts?  Do you want some fresh decor for your home?
Chalk Couture makes this all possible.
Please click below to see the transfers, chalk paste, ink and surfaces.  Don't hesitate to call me at 5745141423 or email jfricker@fourway.net

A quick catalog view

I thought you might enjoy seeing previews of our catalog today.  Just click twice on the above video.
I am receiving my products on Monday and I can't wait to start chalking and creating.  I am in a craft show in our community in November and I hope to have some things to sell.  I will certainly being doing my Tee Shirts as I have done the last 2 craft shows, but this year I want to have some more fun things too.

I am decorating books, making cute small signs, and will have  make and take things from Chalk Couture.  So, it should be fun.

I do not do cards at this craft show for a couple of reasons.  A good friend of mine does cards and I do not want to compete with her.  I spend way to much time on the cards I make and I couldn't sell them for the price I would need to charge.

If you would like to see all the things in our catalog, please click on this link which takes me to my web site at Chalk Couture.

Exciting News

I am now an Independent Designer for Chalk Coutour!!!

Many of you have followed me for years and so this might not be a surprise to you as you know I love creating businesses.  I
truly meant it when I said I was retiring in 2014.  And, I did.
But, I still have a passion for business and one of the reason is my wonderful customers and friends I have made over those years that I have missed.

I accidentally discovered Chalk Couture a few weeks ago looking for something on YouTube.  I was totally blown away with the easy, quick process of their wonderful Screen Print Transfers. (you might call them Stencils but the company calls them Transfers).

Then this past weekend, I attended a fabulous Vintage Art Show here in Fort Myers and there was a Chalk Couture Booth at the show.  I spent a lot of time talking to the gals (they were from New Jersey) and after coming home to discuss it with Jon, I decided to join them and I am excited to share it with you.

Have you wanted to be creative making some signs, pictures, pillows or other crafty items for your home or gifts?  Perhaps you do craft shows and if so these sell like crazy at the shows.

Of course I now live in Fort Myers, Florida so I won't be able to do my workshops with the products, but I will be sharing lots of video ideas on my website and also on other social media sites such as Facebook and Instagram.

I am not going in to much detail tonight, but will in the coming days.  I want to give you a chance to check out the company and product line by going to https://www.chalkcouture.com/joanstouch

My products should be arriving in the next few days and I will be busy creating some beautiful things with them.  We have a craft show in our community in November and I am considering doing another one at a large church if I can get things together for it and they have room.

Please don't hesitate to mail me at jfricker@fourway.net if you have any questions or leave me a comment below.

I look forward to hearing from you all again.  I have truly missed that part of my life.

Gate Fold Card

The front and outside of the card.

The inside of the card and the band is shown below.

The card opened

I know it has been a very long time since I have posted anything, but life has just gotten in the way.
We  have totally remodeled our home in Florida (which has been so fun) and I had major back surgery.  Between redecorating everything and recovering
from surgery I just have not been able to sit down to my craft table to create other than cards for my "family".  I am still pretty limited on what I can do, but I am improving each day.  During this time I had lots of time to be on Pinterest and discover many things I want to do.

This is a Gate Fold card that I created with my Cricut.  I know I have told you how much I love this new Cricut Maker and they just keep adding new tools to it to make it even better.   The flower is an image by Anna Griffin that I have doubled for more dimension.

I will soon be adding a video of our newly remodeled home.  I have decorated it in Joanna Gaines Farmhouse Style and we LOVE it.  It is so fresh and bright and it is just perfect for us at this stage of our lives.

I sure do miss you all and would love to hear from you.  If you ever get to Fort Myers, please call me and hopefully we can get together.  My email is jfricker@fourway.net and my phone number is 574 514 1423.

A great week!

Jon and I at Boca Grande in front of the Banyan Tree.
Our daughter Lori came to visit with us for 10 days and we had a wonderful time.

Lori  under the Banyan Tree

We took a boat trip around Naples to see the beautiful million  dollar plus homes.
We also saw dolphins.  It was a gorgeous day too,

We did a lot of crafting and Lori made Tee Shirts for all the kids.
Sure hated to see her leave, but was very blessed with her visit.

Birthday Card for Kelsey

Kelsey, my 2nd Granddaughter is  a beautiful young woman inside and out.  She is the Mother of 4 adorable boys .  She and her husband Todd are doing a fantastic job raising them to love God, be kind and thankful.  I am so proud to be her Grandmother.

I made this card especially for Kelsey.  I think she will love it.  I used a  Cuttlebug Cut and Emboss folder,   I love this folder as it makes a simple gorgeous card.  Everything else was printed and then cut out with my Cricut.  Cutting has never been one of my favorite things to do, so the Cricut fills that need.  I love designing on the computer  and having the Cricut cut it out.  The new Cricut is so precise (my old one was not),  I am in love with it and it saves me so much time,

Lori's birthday card

Our daughter Lori's birthday is next week,  I wanted to make her a special card.  Nothing went right and it took me over a day to finish it.  I was happy with it when I was done and I think she will love it.  I made her a card a few years ago with the perfect day script and she said she looked at it every morning and it started her day off right.  That card burned up in the fire, so I wanted to make her another one.

The scroll is a Sue Wilson die and the embossing folder is
Embossalious by Crafters Companion.  The flowers and butterfly is by Anna Griffin.

Mazelee's birthday card

Our Great Granddaughter, Mazelee Rose is turning 13 in a few days.  She is and has been so intrigued with fairies.  She loves them, she makes houses for them and she believes in them...strongly.
I found this adorable fairly online and cut it out with my Cricut. I backed her with an Anna Griffins die which I also embossed and then I used a Craftwell Embossing folder behind it all.  Everything is popped up with dimensionals

I also found this sweet poem for Mazelee and included it on the inside of her card.  I think she will love it.

Happy birthday to a princess
Who we love to the moon and back
She is the fairy in our lives
Her smile is like a magic wand
Her hug is like a secret potion
Our lives spin into motion
Because of all the magic she has spun

Happy birthday

Cards and Shirts

I need several cards in the next few days, so I made a generic card that can be used for both occasions, Get Well and Birthday.  I love these corners from Cheery Lynn and the

Scroll in the middle is from Memory Box.  I embossed the velum with a 6x6 Craftwell Embossing Folder.  The card is a 6x6 card.  The Flower is printed on my new Kodak Verite Craft Printer and I used the Cricut to cut it out.  This new technology is amazing.  fussy cutting was never one of my favorite things to do so this is perfect for me.

I have another Craft Fair coming  on February 17 in our Community.  On the way to Florida this year, I started thinking what I could do for the craft fairs.  A good friend was doing cards and even though they are not like mine, I did not want to compete with her.  I gave it a lot of thought and finally decided I could design a Pine Ridge Tee Shirt. (that is the name of our community)  I spent days learning how to use the new program for the Cricut (everything is done on the computer which I love).  I sold over 30 shirts at the Craft Fair, so by the time I got them all done I was pretty familiar with my new Cricut.  Now that I have my new craft room, it is much easier.  I can pretty much design anything anyone wants on a shirt, which makes it fun.  I hope to get some signs painted and cute boxes made before the Craft fair.  Lots to do, but I LOVE my new craft room and I could spend all day in it.  I have to force myself to go swimming in the morning at 8. ha

Get Well Box

I have a new friend that just had some surgery and I wanted to send her a little something.  The box is much smaller than I anticipated, so next time I will increase the size of it.  I cut it all out with my Cricut which I am having so much fun learning to use.  I want to do some stenciling as my next adventure.

We had a Craft Fair in our community last fall,  so I designed Tee Shirt using the Pine Ridge Labels.
They loved them and on February 17 we will be having another one, so I must get to work and get some new things done.  I will be sharing them with you soon.
