Joan, I did take your house tour. Wow, what a gorgeous place you have! We are doing the 'downsizing' discussions here, as well. Oh my goodness, it's hard to think about going through 43 years of our things, our parents' things, and our grown childrens' (military lifestyle - couldn't take all their stuff) things. You are in my thoughts and prayers!
WOW Joan, what a gorgeous home. How fortunate for you that you have had so many wonderful years in it. I can certainly understand why you have to downsize, but as I told you before, it would break my heart to do it. Lucky the person who buys. I wish you a quick, prosperous sale so you can move on.
On the personal side, it has been so nice to see your smiling face grace my computer again. I will miss it when you are gone.
Beautiful home Joan...know you have many sweet memories living there. Certainly understand the down-sizing as it is a LOT to keep up. We have 5 1/2 acres, mostly hilly and trees. Husband on Hospice since January, so even tho our house is only 1660 sq feet, and is handicapped equipped with hallway 5 1/2 feet wide and all doorways 3' wide as well as NO stairs, Etc, the property is a lot to take care of. Not sure how long I will be able to keep it up. No problem Except for all my crafting stuff....LOL! I should send you some of mine to sell...HA!
