Today's card is for a special friend with a life-changing situation, and I want to encourage her.
I digitally created the flower arrangement as I had trouble finding the perfect flower.  I printed and cut the small heart out of the duplicated flower on the card.  Score lines were added for texture and added five small pearls. Please feel free to leave a comment and let me know how you are doing.

My geraniums are blooming beautifully right now, so I decided to create a card using a digital drawing of a geranium flower. I duplicated the image to add depth and dimension to the card. For the sentiment, I printed it from my computer and scored lines at the top to create interest. These cards are simple and clean, which is a departure from my usual style, but I am really enjoying it. It still takes me a while to figure out exactly how I want to design each card.

Thanks for visiting me today. Please let me know if you are enjoying this style of card.

I created this card by first printing a digitally drawn flower and sentiment on it. To add some interest, I scored the left edges using my scorepad. I also used an embossing folder that I have owned for years to add more texture to the card. Although it still has a clean and simple design with a lot of white space, it turned out to be an interesting card. What do you think about it?

This is another clean and simple Thinking of You card that I designed.  I found this beautiful image on Etsy as I scrolled through the thousands of different flowers. The Print and Cut, along with the writing feature were used on my Cricut.  For added accent, I scored 7 lines down the middle of my card.  I left the inside blank so I can write a personal note to the receiver of the card.

I love hearing from you, so please leave me a comment.

I needed some Thinking of You cards, so I have been creating this week and will be sharing one each day.  I discovered a Facebook site that has some great ideas for creating simple cards.  I guess I am into simple mode these days.  It still takes me a long time to figure out what I want to do, but I so love it.

I found this beautiful flower on Etsy, printed it and then cut it out with my Cricut. I have added 5 score lines in the middle for texture and interested.  I printed and cut the images so I could use dimensional tabs to pop them up on top of each other.  I like this look on a card.  My Cricut will write the text, but in this case, I decided to print it as I printed the flowers.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to email me at jfricker@fourway.net.
Would love to hear what you think about my "simple cards".
