A friend asked me to make some cards for her, so I have created a different style today. It was so much fun! I was very happy to learn that Heartfelt Creations has gone digital. So, I purchased The Lily Paper pack and elements because several months ago I ordered the dies and the shaping mold. I was unable to order the paper as it had been discontinued. So, I was a happy camper to be able to download it.
However, this time, I digitally created the flowers and the border and used the print and cut feature with my Cricut, cutting out all the flowers, the oval, and the border. Then I used the pen feature to write the sentiment. I also cut out another border that matched the card and added it to the envelope for fun.
I would love to hear your thoughts, so please leave me a comment.

"I saw a card designed by Hanndie Bestin. I really liked how simple it looked, but when I tried to make it myself, I realized it was much more difficult than I thought. I spent hours on it, trying to get the points just right. I can't even count how many times I had to cut it out, but I was determined to make it work. Finally, I got it almost perfect, so I decided to share it anyway. I used the print and cut feature of my Cricut."
I love hearing from you, so please leave me a comment.

Today's card is for a special friend with a life-changing situation, and I want to encourage her.
I digitally created the flower arrangement as I had trouble finding the perfect flower. I printed and cut the small heart out of the duplicated flower on the card. Score lines were added for texture and added five small pearls. Please feel free to leave a comment and let me know how you are doing.

My geraniums are blooming beautifully right now, so I decided to create a card using a digital drawing of a geranium flower. I duplicated the image to add depth and dimension to the card. For the sentiment, I printed it from my computer and scored lines at the top to create interest. These cards are simple and clean, which is a departure from my usual style, but I am really enjoying it. It still takes me a while to figure out exactly how I want to design each card.
Thanks for visiting me today. Please let me know if you are enjoying this style of card.

I created this card by first printing a digitally drawn flower and sentiment on it. To add some interest, I scored the left edges using my scorepad. I also used an embossing folder that I have owned for years to add more texture to the card. Although it still has a clean and simple design with a lot of white space, it turned out to be an interesting card. What do you think about it?

This is another clean and simple Thinking of You card that I designed. I found this beautiful image on Etsy as I scrolled through the thousands of different flowers. The Print and Cut, along with the writing feature were used on my Cricut. For added accent, I scored 7 lines down the middle of my card. I left the inside blank so I can write a personal note to the receiver of the card.
I love hearing from you, so please leave me a comment.

I needed some Thinking of You cards, so I have been creating this week and will be sharing one each day. I discovered a Facebook site that has some great ideas for creating simple cards. I guess I am into simple mode these days. It still takes me a long time to figure out what I want to do, but I so love it.
I found this beautiful flower on Etsy, printed it and then cut it out with my Cricut. I have added 5 score lines in the middle for texture and interested. I printed and cut the images so I could use dimensional tabs to pop them up on top of each other. I like this look on a card. My Cricut will write the text, but in this case, I decided to print it as I printed the flowers.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to email me at jfricker@fourway.net.
Would love to hear what you think about my "simple cards".

This fall, I embarked on a creative journey, crafting notebooks from the exquisite Mintay Paper. For this particular notebook, I chose a design from the Vacation series. To ensure durability, I used two pieces of craft board, resulting in a sturdy notebook. The best part? The tablet is refillable, allowing me to continue using it.
Inspired by MayMay, I made it my own design. I added a delightful touch: a piece of the same paper inside the pen. This infusion of color and pattern makes writing even more enjoyable. To achieve precision, I employed my trusty Cricut to cut out the pieces, ensuring they fit perfectly. I have made over 50 of these notebooks, using different designs. They are so much fun!!!
